Kenan launched BLD Properties in 2025 after more than two decades at Trinity Financial, where he advanced from Project Manager to Managing Director. Over his career, Kenan has overseen more than $1B in real estate development, delivering 2,500+ units across 14 large-scale multifamily and mixed-use projects throughout the Northeast. His portfolio spans the full housing spectrum – from the redevelopment of distressed public housing to the creation of luxury market rate communities – and includes expertise in historic preservation, transit-oriented development, and innovative financing structures. At Trinity, his leadership in new markets helped the firm earn recognition as Developer of the Year in 2020.
Kenan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is active in housing policy and community leadership, contributing to statewide housing and climate initiatives, speaking at industry forums, and serving on nonprofit boards. His work reflects a deep commitment to expanding housing opportunities, advancing equity, and strengthening communities.
